Oh, then a very quick runthrough of the 2 movements + action thing, puzzles, and stressing the importance of not dawdling and trying to get those clues. It might be giving them too much of a hint, but the best investigator strategies is to usually try all the unlocked rooms first before they waste time trying to unlock doors they haven't gotten a key for.I'm not sure I would call House of Lynch a great starting scenario. It's the easiest and most forgiving, but there isn't really a lot going on. There can only be one easy monster on the board at a time (two easy monsters at certain events) and there's little importance on clue gathering which leaves the story a bit lacking. It's also a little TOO forgiving by providing an item that lets them auto-win at the end no matter how badly they screwed up. Playing that first might leave them thinking the game a bit empty, having no idea how crazy it can get.
