I got 2nd Edition and the Conversion Kit at the same time, and I am completely blown away by the level of variety the Conversion Kit offers. You'll go from 9 monster groups to 34. That almost quadruples your selections.What does this do to game balance? I don't know. But it will definitely create a richer, more diverse experience for everyone.
