Counter point... the Swastika predate even the formation of Germany as a nation... and goes back to both a symbol of strength among the Norse, and peace and luck among Hindu and Buddhist. As a Buddhist, I don't think it offensive at all..... so who then is intolerant or uneducated as to another culture?But, to the point of generalities, many people are lumped in the 'they all look alike' category. Part of it is just predominance of traits. Almost all of Asia has the same hair color, very narrow differences in eye color, roughly the same skin tone. While it can be very offensive to say "they all look alike" it is by the same token very honest for someone to admit "I can't easily tell them apart".
Subtle emphasis makes all the difference.
