Those caveats:
1) A space is not adjacent to one completely separated by a wall
2) You can't draw LoS through the corner where two LoS blocking squares touch.
While I'm at it... I'm not a fan of diagonal movement around a corner. That goes against the grain of most grid-based games these days. And the example in the book (p.9) of Grisban moving diagonally between the goblin and the corner really irks me.
