Thanks for the observation, but I can tell you that it's plenty deep enough ~ please understand that for the purpose of the pictures and video on Kickstarter, we placed some "filler" under the monster tiles so those viewing it could see them clearly. A Crown Royal Bag, for instance, fits beautifully inside the Caldera.
